Fiona Wilson works in a variety of materials, wood, paper, cloth, stitch and printed matter to create work based on collections and narratives. Intrigued by the lost, the overlooked, the forgotten and the hidden, she has an eye for detail and a passion to share skill and knowledge.
Fiona has taught workshops both at Radiant Works at Huddersfield and within colleges and Universities since 2009 and has experience of tutoring and lecturing groups and individuals from private workshops up to degree level.
Fiona offers a variety of technique based courses as well as a more mentoring and developmental approach for those who are looking for advice and feedback to challenge their work.

Screen Printing for Fabrics Workshop - £50 per person
This is a print workshop for those of you who have always wanted to try print processes on fabrics, but have not been sure where to start. I will take you through some basic techniques and to introduce you to ways of creating colour and marks on fabrics through print. You will leave the day with a variety of samples – ideal for stitching into, but also information of how you can carry on printing at home without lots of technical equipment.Times: 10.30am – 3.30pm

Stitch and Print 2 Day Workshop - £100 per person
Day One will cover drawing techniques to translate into machine and hand embroidery samples that will be used as the starting point for Day Two, where you will learn ways of combining stitch and print to create samples onto fabrics.
Times: 10.30am – 3.30pm
