Well - I should have been doing some work to get ready for the quilt festival - I need to get some new postcards printed as they all disappeared at New Designers, but instead I have been nosing about at other blogs. So many amazing things to see, but really zaps my time, howeverI have added to the list of blogs I like - so have a look - there are some lovely images and inspiration.

ooohhh, fiona! i love what you do!!
ReplyDeleteI like all the images but I think the bottom image is the most 'punchy' I also like the top one because of the textural detail. I suppose you should think about what is most important in your work, image or detail?
ReplyDeleteThanks Hannah - it hepls to get someones elses opinion. I may go for two postcard designs this time, as I think both image and detail play a part.
ReplyDeleteHi Fiona, great work! Thanks for your visit on my blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Fi - Virgin Blogger here. All three postcards show off your work to its advantage but my favourite one is the first image
ReplyDeleteWell I was lucky enough to purchase a couple of your beautiful postcards...of your very stunning work today. It was great to have a little chat with you (I was in a flowery emsemble!) I look forward to reading more in the future.
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming to see me and purchasing some cards. I met so many lovely people at the Festival of Quilts - who all made the event a really special occasion. Keep in touch.
