Lovely Day at York Embroiderers' Guild Branch

I had a great time with York Embroiderers Guild Branch on Saturday - extremely friendly and welcoming group and so lovely to see such a proactive group of stitchers!  Hope to return soon.  Thank you to all of you who made my visit and talk such a pleasure.

Screen Printing Workshop

I have just one place left for the Screen Printing Workshop called "Print Taster" on Saturday 26th March, so get in touch if you want to attend.  This workshop is ideal if you have wanted to try printing onto fabrics with screens but have always thought that it will be complicated and that you needs lots of specialist equipment.  Come and learn the basics of screen printing and see how you are able to carry on printing at home.  I will go through where to get supplies from, how to mix up dyes, simple techniques to get the most out of a screen to create some beautiful results.  You will leave the day with a set of great samples.  Great way to produce original fabrics to stitch onto or use for other making projects.

Talk at the York Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild Sat 5th March

Giving my talk - From Inspiration to Realisation at the York Embroiderers' Guild tomorrow afternoon - looking forward to meeting the members and seeing what they all get up to in their stitching session in the morning!
